Renowned Brewing Professional Joins Fast Friends Beer Company
Sarah Perez to Lead Fast Friends Brewing Team
AUSTIN, Texas -- Fast Friends Beer Company is thrilled to announce that Sarah Perez will be stepping into the role of Head Brewer, taking the reins of their beverage program.
"After nearly 17 years in the craft beer scene, I’m truly honored to have this opportunity to express my passion for brewing at Fast Friends," Sarah shared. "I look forward to enhancing our vision of creating beverages with love, offering a diverse selection for every palate. We have a fantastic chance to expand the Fast Friends brand in local grocery stores and restaurants with our flagship offerings, while also continuing to brew distinctive beers and seltzer cocktails exclusively available at our 18,000 square foot facility in South Austin."
Prior to joining Fast Friends, Sarah held leadership positions at Susitna Brewing Company, Rahr and Sons Brewing Company, and Maui Brewing Company. In addition to her new role, she is currently a mentor with the Brewers Association, demonstrating her commitment to nurturing growth within the brewing community. Sarah is also a certified Cicerone and a graduate of the Siebel Institute of Technology Brewing Program, as well as the Hybrid Distillation Certificate Program. She has received scholarships from the Glenn Hay Falconer Program and The Michael James Jackson Foundation.
