Acclaimed Author and Bible Scholar Melody Wolfe Has Just Released a True Story About the Wrongful Conviction of Jimmy Melvin Jr.
Wolfe Claims that Melvin is a Victim of Malicious Prosecution and Systemic Injustice
Halifax, Canada -- After researching and following-up with leads, Melody Wolfe has finally concluded her five-year investigative research concerning the wrongful conviction and subsequent sentencing of Jimmy Melvin Jr., now considered a Dangerous Offender by the Nova Scotia Supreme Court. Wolfe has released her book, detailing each and every systemic flaw that was, in her own words, "a gross miscarriage of justice".
"I began to conduct my own investigation, by way of listening to leads, reviewing the media accounts of his ordeals in Court, and through careful contemplation of his own words during his trial. What I began to conclude after careful analysis of the facts was that he was wrongfully convicted of attempted murder on the life of his friend and mentor, Terry Marriott Jr. Both of these young men, who were going through a somewhat difficult phase in their friendship, began the quest for peace by seeking a mutually agreed upon place to discuss what would be considered terms of peace within their long-time friendship. It was quite a violent war, on both sides, so it is certainly understandable how someone like Jimmy Melvin Jr. would feel the need to carry a weapon, should the meeting escalate. Unfortunately, the police intercepted Melvin before they had a chance to work things out and wrongfully assumed that it was a case of attempted murder. The judge who convicted him actually said that his "intentions were quite clear", causing me to question if the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia now consider themselves to be God, knowing what is going on inside a person's heart and mind."
Wolfe's book, "Justice Denied: Jimmy Melvin Jr. and the Conviction No One Questioned" is now available in digital form, an eBook, on Kobo and Kobo Plus.
"I only wish I could do more for Mr. Melvin Jr. He is certainly missed and loved by many people," says Wolfe.
Wolfe typical writes Bible-based teaching books, but after looking into the information surrounding Melvin's incredibly horrific ordeal, she felt that, based on Hebrews 13:3, she was not in a position to look away and leave him locked up indefinitely.
"I pray for him each and every day, because some nightmares are not fiction," concludes the Christian author and bible scholar from Spryfield, Nova Scotia.
