Founded on March 1, 2023, in Chattogram by music enthusiast Abdullah Al Noman, BMFC began as a small fan-driven initiative created to celebrate Bangladeshi rock, metal, and alternative music. Within a short period of time, it has grown into the country’s most active online community focused solely on band music.
BMFC plays a key role in connecting audiences with both legendary and emerging Bangladeshi bands. The platform regularly highlights influential artists such as Miles, Feedback, Aurthohin, Artcell, Warfaze, Nemesis, Shironamhin, and other pioneers who shaped the nation’s band music movement, while also offering visibility and support to new and upcoming talents.
Through curated content, historical archives, throwback features, exclusive stories, and fan engagement, BMFC functions as a digital archive that documents the evolution of Bangladeshi band music and ensures its legacy reaches audiences beyond national borders.
